Have you heard about the dice game, "Petals Around the Rose"? While working with my GT students several years ago, our P.E. teacher noticed we were doing a lot of critical thinking and problem-solving activities. So she asked if she could teach us this game...and she sure stumped us with how to solve the mystery of the score for each roll! We were using real dice, but there are now several online versions of the game. I recently used this with a middle school student and it also stumped him! Check it out...LINK IN BIO!

I get a lot of fun task cards from sellers on TpT (this one is from a printable board game on area and perimeter by @lovingmath - but since I'm still virtually tutoring, I upload the task cards to Google Jamboard, and that way, I can draw/write to help the student solve it and they can write the answers on the cards! I'm starting my genre study with one of my middle school students and I always begin with my Quizlet game to see how many genres they already know. More resources and activities on genres for reading/writing in my TpT product; LINK IN BIO!

Education.com has some awesome games for preschool/kindie students to learn numbers and letters! I can assign games to kids and then during virtual tutoring, they can share their screen so I can help them with games. I also use Google Jamboard for sharing the agenda for our session and reviewing math concepts; in this case, a trick for multiplying 7s!
